Hi, I am a biology student in London eager to practise my Japanese. My native tongue is Chinese but I also speak fluent English and have been living in the UK for almost 10 years now. I like reading fictions in general (English/Chinese/Japanese). However, when it comes to speaking I often forget which expression to use. Besides reading, I also like appreciating the nature (going to parks and seeing plants), drawing (simple figures such as cute animals and chibi characters), and listening to musicals (Les Miserables, Hamilton, etc). Hi, I'm Giselle. I moved to Toronto a few years ago. My native language is Cantonese, and I also speak conversational Mandarin. I learned English in school back home, and I'm currently working on improving my spoken fluency.
I grew up watching Japnese and Korean TV shows, I hope to learn the language, too.
On the other hand, I’ve begun learning French recently, which has been challenging but exciting.
My goals are:
1. to speak English like a native speaker;
2. to immerse myself in French; and
3. start to learning Japanese and Korea so I can watch the TV shows without the help of subtitles.
